We read in certain Bible passages that Jesus was moved with compassion and healed the sick.  What exactly is compassion and is this something we as Christians can experience? In this message we will gain a greater understanding of the compassion of Jesus, where it came from, and how it moved Jesus to heal the sick.

GOD has already blessed us with every spiritual blessing in CHRIST. Because we are united with CHRIST, we are not helpless before opposition-we have received grace, righteousness, authority, and victory through HIM.

The story of Israel, Balak, and Balaam, shows what GOD has blessed cannot be overturned by the enemy. Even when Israel was unaware of the battle, GOD was working on their behalf. Victory does not mean the absence of battles. It means standing in who we are in CHRIST, refusing to let opposition move us from faith, joy, peace, or our GOD-given assignment. God has given us the victory through our LORD JESUS CHRIST, therefore, be steadfast, immovable, and confident. You are blessed for victory.

What Do You Have?

We see in scripture, when Peter healed a lame man at the gate, he said, “What I have, I give to you” and he invoked the name of Jesus. In this lesson, we will learn how he could do that and what it was that he had- POWER, from the Holy Spirit! We also find out from Acts 1:8, that we have that same POWER, and can DO the same.

 

Preach The Gospel-Heal The Sick

The Bible tells us that Jesus preached the gospel of the Kingdom and at the same time, He healed the sick. What does that mean for us as born-again believers? Since we have been translated into the Kingdom that Jesus preached, we can both receive healing and pray for others to be healed!   

The nation of Judah had turned to idol worship, rejecting the true God. They were warned that if they did not turn back to God, they would end up surrendering to a foreign nation. That day came; Babylon took them captive. But there was hope. The prophet Jeremiah told them, surrender and you will live; they would return one day, and the Messiah would come through them.

For some, hearing the word surrender can bring a picture of a loss of freedom and fear, but like the nation of Judah, He just wants our whole heart. For the believer in Christ, surrendering to Jesus is when we begin to really live, and the only way we can be truly free.

In this message, Pastor encourages believers who are facing pain, uncertainty, or prolonged struggles to anchor their hope in God's unfailing love and unchanging faithfulness. By remembering all that God has done—most importantly through the finished work of Jesus Christ—and choosing to praise Him in the midst of your circumstances, you can experience a transformation in both your countenance and your perspective, positioning you to witness God's mighty power at work in your life and circumstances.

PART 1:

If you have ever struggled with an ongoing problem or sickness, it may be time to draw a line in the sand and say, "enough is enough."  The Bible says that Jesus carried all sickness and disease when he went to the cross. Give it to Jesus and receive your healing! 

PART 2:

When God called Abraham, He told him he would be a father of a multitude.  A Multitude? How could this be when he and his wife were past the age of child bearing?  God promised him they would have a son from their own bodies but it would take a miracle for that to happen. Abraham believed God's promise and they did have a son. The Bible calls him a righteous man for having unwavering faith in God's word. If you have given your life to Jesus and been forgiven of sin, then you have received the righteousness that Christ gives you. Do you need a miracle in your body? Don't waver at the promise of God. Have faith in God's word and receive your miracle today.

Ministry gifts exist to prepare every believer to serve effectively, so that the Body of Christ is strengthened and built up. As believers are equipped through the faithful teaching of God's Word, the Church grows toward unity in the faith, a deeper knowledge of the Son of God, and spiritual maturity that reflects the character of Christ.

 

This message calls every believer to grow in spiritual discernment, doctrinal stability, and faithful participation in the life and mission of the Church so that the whole body is strengthened, edified in love and brought to greater maturity.

Part 1: The Wait is Over

There was a time when Adam and Eve walked in beautiful, sinless fellowship with God. When they disobeyed Him, the power of sin caused them to be separated from God's eternal life, allowing entrance to sickness and disease in the entire world. But God had a solution. He would send His own Son, who would destroy the power of sin.

 

One way Jesus demonstrated this was by healing the sick. In Jerusalem, there was a place called the Pool of Bethesda. The people would come and lay around the pool just waiting for a miracle. One man had been waiting and hoping for 38 years. Jesus healed him and he stood on his feet and began to walk again. Do you need healing? Today is your day. The wait is over!

 

Part 2: Amending the Soil

We are often reminded of the need to renew our minds when learning to receive healing. In this message, this is examined in a practical sense.

 

Jesus shows us in the parable of the Sower how we can observe the common practice of gardening & sowing seed to examine the condition of our hearts. This parable explains the relation between the type of ground we sow into versus the outcome of our harvest.

 

The great news is that in whatever type of ground or “soil” we find ourselves - we have the ability to amend or change it! God is the ultimate gardener and his Word the perfect seed with all of the nutrients available to us. If we are bold enough to give Him access, He can amend the soil of our hearts into the good ground that produces good fruit, through relationship & intimacy with Him.

As a believer in Christ, you are called to spend regular time in God's Word, receiving light, illumination, and instruction firsthand from the Lord. As you respond in faith and obedience to His Word, His life is expressed through you, enabling you to shine brightly and effectively in a dark world. In these last days, a life rooted in Scripture and lived in obedience is essential to reflecting Christ and pointing others to Him.

As those who are light in the Lord, believers are called to live as children of light. You shine most brightly as you imitate God through a life of intimate fellowship with Him. As you cultivate intimacy with the Father through the gift of eternal life and abide in His Word, His Divine life and light are increasingly reflected through you. In doing so, you become a living witness of Christ, illuminating the world around you and drawing others to the Father through the radiance of His person and presence within you.
