Many times we have a hard time believing God for our healing even though we know that Jesus can heal us. Is the issue a lack of faith?  

The disciples faced this same issue when dealing with a boy possessed by an evil spirit causing him to have life threatening seizures. When they tried to deal with this spirit, they failed to help the boy. Later they asked Jesus why. Jesus told them it was because of unbelief. Many will ask, If I have unbelief in my heart does that mean I have lost my faith? The Bible answers this question, and shows us things we can do to deal with unbelief.

Never give up on your healing! 1 Peter 2:24 tells us that we were healed. In Matthew 7:7-8, Jesus tells us to keep asking, keep seeking, and keep knocking. The manifestation of our healing doesn't always come in the way we expect or in the time we expect, but if we don't give up it will come - God gets us there.

Understanding The Light Within

Jesus is the Light of the world—the True Light who reveals the Father and gives life to all who believe in Him. Through faith in His death and resurrection, believers receive the light of life in being born again as children of light. Because Christ now dwells within you by His Spirit, you are called to be the light of the world, reflecting His life and character wherever you go. As you cultivate an ongoing awareness of His presence and walk in continual fellowship with Him, His light shines through you, illuminating a dark world and drawing others to the Savior.

The Gospel is Healing

The gospel is the message of salvation through Jesus' life, death, and resurrection. Through salvation we receive forgiveness of sin, but also, healing of the body. The early church would share the gospel and see many turn to the Lord. At the same time, many were healed. Healing, signs, and wonders were not separate from the gospel. They are the gospel! The same power that saves us, heals us. Receive your healing today. It is God's will for you.

WHEN WOUNDS MEET THE CROSS: Healing by The Word

Through the cross of Jesus Christ, and by faith in His death and resurrection, those who are wounded receive new life, healing, and deliverance. As a believer, when you yield to the Word of God—which is living and powerful—the hidden effects and residue of past trauma are exposed and removed, bringing greater freedom and wholeness experientially. Ongoing transformation through the renewing of the mind enables you to walk more fully in kindness, tenderheartedness, and forgiveness, reflecting the character of Christ in your relationships and interactions with others.

Healing in The Secret Place

Psalm 91 begins by talking about dwelling in the secret place of the Most High. What is that secret place?  It is a picture of God's divine protection provided to the one who trusts in Him. But as we read further, we also see a picture of His protection as well as deliverance from disease. 

 

Before He left earth, Jesus promised that He would send the Holy Spirit to us. We have now become the dwelling place of the Spirit, and He has become our protection and deliverance from sickness and disease. We are hidden in Him, within and without. Jesus is our secret place.

Whose Report Have You Believed?

Every challenge presents competing reports—the report of the circumstances and the report of the LORD. Faith and fear may see the same facts, but they arrive at different conclusions because they begin with different reference points.

 

Isaiah 53:1 asks: "Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?" Faith is agreeing with and obeying GOD's report above every contrary report. The question before every believer is simple: Will you believe by obeying the report of the circumstances, or will you believe and obey the report of the LORD?

RESOLVE THIS: Healing Wounds of the Past

Every believer has experienced pain, hardship, betrayal, or disappointment and has had to respond to those wounds. Yet we must be careful not to allow our hurts to define our identity, shape our character, or harden our hearts. Jesus Himself endured unimaginable suffering, including betrayal by a close friend, but He did not allow those experiences to deter Him from His purpose or diminish His love. As a "Man of sorrows and pain and acquainted with grief," He understands our pain and offers true healing.

 

Today, give Jesus room to minister to the wounded places of your heart and step into the wholeness, freedom, and restoration that He has provided through His redeeming work.

Resist him Sharply

The believer is charged to resist the devil and stand firm in the truth. Do not be lulled into accepting the enemy's lies, accusations, or deceptions. Instead, resist him decisively with the truth of the finished work of the cross, remaining rooted and grounded in your identity in Christ.

Time for Change

No Price, No Prize

Every God-given purpose involves a process. Jesus endured the cross before receiving the crown, showing that suffering can be part of God’s work in producing spiritual strength and destiny. God does not promise a life without trials, but He does promise His presence through them. Present difficulties are temporary and cannot compare to the glory that lies ahead. Understand that trials are often not meant to destroy us but to develop endurance, maturity, resilience, and deeper trust in God.
