Forgiving others just as God through Christ has forgiven you is something which sometimes proves challenging. Understanding forgiveness in the light of God’s mercy aids greatly in forgiving and releasing others. Pastor Seun further emphasizes that there is great freedom to be had and experienced when you are also able by His grace to forgive yourself.

The Christian's response to the challenges of life reflects their understanding of what being born again really means. By the end of this class, you will have a clearer understanding of how to fully access the benefits of salvation.

Jesus was clear in emphasizing the need to forgive those who wrong us. He left a powerful example by what he displayed and uttered on the cross regarding forgiveness. You find peace, healing and are better placed to walk in the fulness of what the Lord has for you as a believer when you forgive and release those who have offended you.

Where the believer is experiencing loss of health, sickness, or suffering evil of any kind, Scripture enjoins the believer to PRAY. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much. Pastor Seun exhorts that you stand in faith, being conscious of the power and authority you wield in Christ as you decree concerning the situation with great expectation - and receive manifestation of healing.

As a believer, under the new covenant you are called to forgive others just as God has forgiven you through Christ. Matthew 6:14-15 is considered in the light of the cross as Pastor Seun teaches on forgiveness under the microscope, seen and appreciated through the lens of grace.

In the first part of this healing class, Doris shares that Jesus says you can have what you say, but not many of us know what to say. Your body will obey your words, whether you’re speaking words of death or words of life, your words will reflect the fruit of spoken words. Without a doubt it is never God‘s will for us to be sick therefore we have to train our tongue to line up with the word of God that says “we are healed.” The word conceived in our heart, formed by our tongue, and spoken out of our mouth is a “Powerful Creative Healing Force!”. Joann follows up by reminding us that the Bible says when Jesus was near a town or village, the people would bring the sick to Him, in the hope of just touching the hem of His garment. The Bible tells us that as many as touched Him were healed. But now, because of the cross, we do not have to wait for Him to come, He is with us at all times. Just receive your healing!

There’s much power and healing in forgiving others just as God in Christ has forgiven you. Understanding the forgiveness you have in Christ as a believer sets you up to walk freely and effectively in the calling with which you were called in Christ Jesus, as a faithful witness in the world today.

As disciples of Jesus Christ every believer has the responsibility to faithfully remain in the Word of God, learning from Jesus and growing in relationship. There is much rest and healing which results when we give undivided attention to Jesus as the centerpiece and focus of our lives.
