In today’s class, Ifeoma identifies six characteristics of exercising faith effectively: being aggressive (Matthew 11:12), biting down on GOD’s word, not giving up or wavering (Hebrews 10:23; James 1:6-8), refusal to take no for an answer (1 John 5:4), not waiting but taking (Joshua 18:3), being fully persuaded (Romans 4:21), which ensures standing firm free from fear even if symptoms persist or worsen (Mark 5:35-36). Using the account of Jairus daughter whose situation worsened, Ifeoma shows how worsening symptoms can cause people to doubt or waver, but the good words of out trustworthy GOD will never fail (Joshua 3:14; 1 King 8:56).  

God is faithful! His faithfulness is truly undeniable. To be faithful to something, or someone, you must be completely committed. Jesus is committed to you! In this class, we are going to look at what the faithfulness of God means to us, as well as His faithfulness to uphold His own Word! We will see from the beginning to the end of the Bible, and throughout eternity, God is faithful!

Jesus said, “for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.” As believers and disciples of Jesus Christ, our lives are not to be defined and controlled by what we have or possess in this world. Our lives consist of the abundance of life we have in God in oneness and relationship with Him. The “end of self” is not being disturbed, uneasy or afraid in the face of life’s circumstances due to having contentment in God.

Luke 5:15 and Luke 6:17 tell us that multiples came to Jesus to “hear and be healed”. In this class, Pastor Jim, shows how that pattern is still applicable for receiving and ministering healing today.
