Voices That Count (10-30-2022)

As believers and citizens of heaven, maintaining a Biblical worldview is critical in our interaction with the world, which includes our engagement with or in politics. The church of the living God is the pillar and ground of the truth. The church is to stand for the truth and proclaim the truth in the earth. Every believer ought to let their voice count by being heard in the choices made in voting this election cycle. Be very aware of the issues and vote with God’s heart in clear view.

Voice of Prayer

Many in the body of Christ are going through life without unlocking the power of prayer in their walk and relationship with God. This is a call to prayer and an exhortation to continue fervently in the same with thanksgiving to God; our eyes and hearts set on Him alone in sweet communion.

Use Your Voice

Having previously given the charge to hear God and follow as the Lord leads, Pastor Seun instructs that believers use their (prophetic) voice in making Jesus known, get sharpened in prayer, and maintain love as their charter or code for living and effective witness.

Hear Ye Him, Citizens! (10-18-2022)

As believers, if we are going to make any meaningful impact or impact culture positively for God and His Kingdom in this generation, it must be with the overriding sense of knowing, understanding, and being cognizant of who we are in Christ and the true nature of our citizenship.

Engaging The Harvest

“But I say, WAKE UP and look around. The fields are already ripe for harvest." These words of Jesus echo through the ages as a clarion call to believers who are His disciples. Knowing that as laborers, the fruit we harvest is people brought to eternal life, we have to have an attitude of winsome engagement in proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ. This engagement ought to be free from boundaries or restrictions of culture, religion, race, socio-economic, or political constructs or norms.

All Eyes on TRUTH

Through our fellowship with the Holy Spirit, it is important that we allow the peace of Jesus to rule in our hearts as disciples in these last days. Peace and stability result when we are established in the truth. The world needs truth. The truth the world needs is Jesus. Christ makes us know that the harvest is NOW.

The Helper and You

As believers, we have fellowship with the Holy Spirit who is our helper. We are to be increasingly alive to His Person, presence, and power in our lives. By growing in our awareness, knowledge, and intimacy with the Holy Spirit, we reap the glorious benefits of His personal ministry.

Claiming your Inheritance / Reach Out And Touch Him

An heir is a person who receives something of value from another.  The Bible uses the word heir to describe us as recipients of a gift from God. In the opening lesson, Julie teaches how, as an heir of God and a co-heir of Christ, healing is ours. In the second lesson, Joann describes how many came from far and wide to hear Jesus preach and be healed of all their sickness and disease. Just one touch and they were made whole.  As born again believers, we hear Him through His word and are able to receive that healing touch by faith, because He lives inside us. Receive what has already been done through the cross. Be healed today!

He sent His word and healed them / Signed, Sealed, Delivered

Joann starts this week's class with a reminder from Psalm 107:20 that God sent His word, Jesus, and healed us and delivered us from all our destructions.   

Jesus is that Word that was made flesh and, because of His abiding presence, we are whole. Doris follows with a teaching to help us realize that once we truly understand the magnitude of Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection we will be better able to grasp the concept of healing being ours, now!
