Are you ensnared? (the extended version)

Hebrews 12:1 talks about laying aside every weight and sin that easily ensnares us.  In this extended version of last week's lesson, Johnny talks about how these things affect our faith and ability to see healing manifest. We take more time to talk about what to do if you find yourself ensnared, gaining freedom and regaining faith for healing.

In the second lesson, Doris shares that if you’re holding bitterness, unforgiveness or even the pain from a broken heart it can affect you emotionally, and anything that affects you emotionally can have an adverse impact on you physically!

As Living Stones

As believers, we are living stones. What makes us living stones is the presence of The Living God within us. Every believer bears and carries the presence of God. Understanding and appreciating this reality sets us apart to adequately manifest His glory in these last days.

What Faith Does

James tells us to ask for prayer if we are sick and the prayer of faith shall save the sick. We see right away that healing is part of salvation. But we must pray in faith.  When we pray the prayer of faith, we trust Jesus to answer. Faith is not what we can do but what Jesus has already done. He accomplished, we receive!

The Praise Cure / Benefits of Blessing the Lord

Jesus healed the ten lepers but only one returned to praise Him. The Bible states that ten were cleansed but the one that returned to praise Him was made whole (sozo). In this lesson, Julie teaches on the effects that genuine praise has in our healing. Praise involves remembering all He has done, it declares who God is, it encourages ourselves in the Lord, and it speaks the Word out loud and grows our faith.  In the second lesson, Johnny examines how we bless the Lord and how this affects our ability to receive and minister healing. Using Psalm 103, Johnny shows how worship from the depths of our soul releases the flow of God.
