Fear as a Source of Unbelief: Understanding a Heart that is Susceptible to fear

This class explores what makes the heart susceptible to fear and how to overcome it. A heart becomes vulnerable to fear when it is empty of GOD’s Word, distracted by circumstances, wounded by past experiences, weakened by unbelief, influenced by negative voices, or resistant to the leading of the HOLY SPIRIT.

 

The antidote is a wholehearted commitment to GOD and HIS Word, continually consulting and yielding to the HOLY GHOST for the right response to every circumstance and situation.

The Gospel in Full View

Understanding the Gospel and the body of truth it contains is fundamental to contending for the faith in these last days. Every believer must take time to be rooted and grounded in the truth of God through a faithful relationship with Him. The Gospel is not just the starting point of our faith—it is the foundation that keeps us anchored. Spending time in God’s presence in prayer and in His Word, becomes the fuel and stamina needed to stand firm, stay discerning, and remain unshaken in the face of opposition.

BEYOND THE THORN: Releasing Power

God’s power is mightily at work in the believer. When you live with the awareness of this truth, you begin to walk in the reality of Paul’s declaration: “When I am weak, then I am strong” (2 Corinthians 12:10). Living Life in God's Kingdom

When John the Baptist came saying, "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand," he was saying that life as it had been lived up until that time was about to change. God's glorious power would be seen in the earth through Jesus, His Son. Jesus demonstrated what this would look like as He went about preaching the gospel of the Kingdom and healing all kinds of sickness and disease.  He even sent out His apostles to go and do the same. For the born-again believer in Jesus, this means that we now carry that same authority and are commissioned as the apostles were. He said, "Heal the sick." Living life in God's Kingdom means living a life healed and free!

The Old Man is Dead

As a new creation in Christ, it is vital for the believer to understand that they now possess only one nature—the nature and life of God. The old man was crucified with Christ, put to death, and no longer exists. Therefore, the heart must be firmly established in this truth through the Word of God, and the mind continually renewed by it. As this renewal takes place, the believer’s experience will increasingly align with this reality, resulting in a life of consistent victory and transformation in their daily walk.
